In 1966, Sid Salinger founded Jorob Electric Company from a small office space in Manhattan. His idea was to form an electrical company to provide quality electric, service, and installation throughout New York City and Long Island. Working with his father since the mid-1970’s, Robert Salinger as always loved the electrical industry and starting in 1986, has strived to make the company a premiere electrical contractors. In 2002 Sid and Rob formed SRS Electrical Consultants, Inc., to consolidate all of their business ventures under one corporation.

In keeping with the ideals set out by Sid Salinger, Robert Salinger continues to push SRS to the top of the industry.

Mr. Salinger serves as the President of SRS Electrical Consultants, Inc. His primary responsibilities include overseeing and managing the development and construction of present and potential SRS Electric projects. 

Since 1986, Mr. Salinger has specialized in the growth of New York City and Long Island, renovating, and developing both commercial and residential buildings to house thousands of apartments and corporate office spaces. 

He has consulted on design and planning, budget and schedule during the pre-construction process and participated in executing some of the largest and most complex projects in the Five Boroughs and Long Island, including but not limited to 1040 & 1050 Avenue of the Americas, 20 Exchange Place, Blink Fitness Centers, and 37 Wall Street.

Robert graduated from SUNY Farmingdale and holds 17 Master Electrician Licenses in the State of New York.
